Fatima joined our ESOL programme at Entry Level 1 with no prior English. Through our structured progression pathway, she moved through Entry Level 2, Entry Level 3 and Level 1 before achieving her Level 2 Functional Skills qualification. She now supports other ESOL learners as a teaching assistant.

"I had no idea how to apply to university in the UK. The team helped me with everything — my UCAS form, my personal statement, student finance. I got into my first choice and I am now in my second year studying nursing."

Thanh came to us after completing an IELTS preparation course. Our university pathways advisor supported him through the entire UCAS process, helped him write a compelling personal statement and guided him through the student finance application. He is now studying BSc Nursing at a Russell Group university.

Margaret was referred to our home care service following a dementia diagnosis. Our care team developed a personalised care plan in partnership with Margaret, her family and her GP. She now receives daily visits from a consistent care team who support her to live safely and independently at home.

Amara attended our CV Writing and Interview Skills workshops after a period of unemployment. With a completely rewritten CV and new interview techniques, she applied for three roles and received two offers. She is now working full-time in administration.

"I started with basic English and could not imagine going to university. Creative Support Centre gave me the language skills, the confidence and the practical support to make my dream a reality. I am now studying law."

Maria joined our ESOL programme at Intermediate level and progressed through to our English for University course. Our university pathways team then supported her through her UCAS application and personal statement. She is now studying LLB Law and plans to qualify as a solicitor.

David's father was referred to our home care service following a hospital discharge with complex mental health and physical care needs. Our care manager worked closely with the family, the hospital discharge team and the GP to create a comprehensive care plan that enabled a safe return home.
